Welcome to the Lake Norman Wildlife Conservationists (LNWC) web site. We are a chapter of the North Carolina Wildlife Federation (NCWF) - a community based organization established for the purposes of environmental education, appreciation of wildlife and natural history, and conservation of wildlife habitat and natural resources.

Next Educational Program

Our next free educational nature program will be on "Design a Wildlife Habitat in Your Backyard". The program will start at 6 p.m., Thursday, May 9, in the Youth Services Room of Mooresville Public Library, 304 S. Amazing Critter Cruise

LNWC's June education program will be the annual Amazing Critter Cruise set for noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 15, at a cost of $25 per person, prepaid reservation required. The cruise departs from Queen's Landing in Mooresville. Click HERE to register or for more information.

Annual Oyster & Shrimp Fest

Mark your calendars for the Lake Norman Wildlife Conservationists' fifth annual Wildlife Oyster & Shrimp Fest, scheduled for Sept. 21 at Long Island Marina in Catawba. Click HERE to register or for more information.

New Youth Activities Committee

The Lake Norman Wildlife Conservationists has formed a new committee to develop activities, outings, and events that connect youth to nature and wildlife in the Lake Norman area. To find out more about this program email us at lnwcyouth@gmail.com.
