Fed up with the bad economy? Get your mind off the downturn by exploring the natural beauty of Lake Norman during an event sponsored by the Lake Norman Wildlife Conservationists, a grassroots chapter of the North Carolina Wildlife Federation.

Bring the kids and grandkids to the Lake Norman Wildlife Cruise, a narrated tour of Lake Norman on the beautiful Lady of the Lake yacht, docked at Queens Landing in Mooresville. The cruise will set sail, rain or shine, at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, June 26. Check-in time is at 3:00 p.m. and return time is 5:00 p.m.

This educational tour focuses on islands, animal and plant species, and ongoing conservation projects that help protect those species. Refreshments will include heavy hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar, plus live and silent auctions are planned.

You can register for the cruise by filling out our online registration form below. Cruise tickets are a reasonable $40 apiece or $75 for two by check made out to LNWC and mailed to: PO Box 4296, Mooresville, NC 28117. Tickets also can be ordered online via our credit card payment option below. Tickets must be purchased by June 24, 2010.

Proceeds from the cruise will help support the projects, programs, and events run by the Lake Norman Wildlife Conservationists, a chapter of the North Carolina Wildlife Federation. Members of the organization will be on the cruise to answer your conservation questions.
