Deep Fish Attractor Project

Deep fish attractor

The North Carolina Wildlife Federation is in the process of  securing funding for Deep Fish Attractors for Lake Norman,  The project will help develop and increase the number of deep fish habitats around Lake Norman. This in turn will help promote and increase the fish population on Lake Norman.

The project will entail surveying and choosing sites that provide optimum opportunity for improving fish habitats around the lake. LNWC volunteers will construct, combine, sink, and anchor the fish attractors in water approximately 20 feet deep to ensure the safety to boaters on the lake.
