BRIEF DESCRIPTION:  

On Septemeber 29, 2007, LNWC and NCWF sponsored with Duke's McGuire Plant a "Clean Cast" youth fishing event. This was a special event for kids, ages 6 - 12. It was a totally free event for the kids and it gave the parents an opportunity to spend some quality time with their kids while enjoying the outdoors and nature at its best. We are not sure who had more fun, the kids or the adults but fun was had by all with many fish caught by everyone including some of the adults who had never fished before.

LNWC is looking into expanding this event to accommodate more of the LNWC membership and the general public. LNWC is reviewing this past event to determine how we might offer this type of activity into our own future schedule.
